 Barclay Littlewood - Chief Operations Director
Barclay Littlewood is the Chief Operations Director and founder of Academic Answers
Ltd, the umbrella company for our industry leading academic research services. He
trained as a barrister at Gray’s Inn before setting up his initial academic research
company in 2003. Mr Littlewood has endeavoured to improve academic standards for
over five years and is a high-profile campaigner for reforms of the assessment methods
for students.
Barclay turned to business after a Barrister told him - “If you want to make real money
you’re in the wrong game.” He also recalls one of his Bar School teachers saying after a
case submission - “I don’t think this is as much fun as you want it to be!”
His heroes include Sam Walton (first and foremost), Howard Shultz, Peter Jones, and of
course Richard Branson. Barclay lives and breathes business, when he isn’t he’s living
and breathing table tennis ... with slightly less success. He also enjoys boxing and
watching ice hockey and football.
 Tony Eynon - Managing Director
Tony originally joined the company as assistant manager in 2005, but quickly outgrew the position and was swiftly promoted to manager. He
finally secured a place on the board of directors at the beginning of 2008.
Tony is now accountable for driving strategic placement and evolving the services process while also ensuring that the company is logistically
efficient. The growth, diversification and evolution of the company continue to be Tony’s key focus. On the off chance that Tony’s not in the office, you’ll find him climbing a mountain, biking a mountain or paintballing.
 Karina - Company Secretary
Karina is one of the longest serving members of the team. She’s the
company secretary and also runs the Human Resources department.
Karina is entrusted with recruiting the finest academics to join our
prestigious research team.
She spends her free time preening her pet
Chihuahua, Mylo. Originally from Cornwall she enjoys surfing, shopping,
cooking, going out for food and dancing! She has also travelled
extensively through Asia and Australia.
 Edward Longhurst - Sales Manager
Edward Longhurst is the Sales Manager for Academic Answers Ltd and
is the head of our industry leading customer service team. He brings
eight years of customer service experience to the team.
When he’s not in
the office he loves to watch a variety of sports and play on his Nintendo
Wii with his children.
Jennifer - Quality Manager
Jennifer is the Quality Control Manager and is accountable for
overseeing the high standards of work that leave the office everyday.
Holding multiple qualifications and being a Fellow of the Institute of Legal
Executives, Jennifer is one of the most highly qualified members of the
Academic Answers Ltd team.
She is also the spokesperson for the
company and has featured in many interviews, both for radio and
television. When Jen’s not at work, she loves snowboarding and rock
music!
 Olivia - Sales Team
Olivia is one of our top sales executives, and one of the friendly voices
of Academic Answers Ltd. When she’s not manning the phones shes
with her children and socialising with her friends. She’s easy-going and
always laughing!
 Bartholomew - Information Technology Team
Bartholomew is our most experienced net technician. When he’s not in
the office he enjoys listening to Jazz, reading philosophy, and Vegetarian
cooking. He can also be found travelling to other countries to take urban
photographs and in the cinema watching off-beat films.
Carly - Information Technology Team
One of the newest members of the team, Carly is a welcome
additional to our web technician team. When she’s not working, she
enjoys walking her dogs, socialising with friends and she’s an
obsessive Doctor Who fan.
David - Information Technology Team
David is one of our key web technicians. He’s a car enthusiast
(Ferrari’s are of particular interest!), he practices Karate regularly and
when he’s not doing either of those, he relaxes by watching Formula
One or listening to Eric Clapton.
 Ken - Sales Team
Ken is our newest customer sales executive and another trusted voice of
Academic Answers Ltd. He enjoys watching sports, Futurama and
movies. He loves Classic Rock and spending time with his family, he also
loves to travel.
Phill - Information Technology Team
Phill is our newest addition to the web technical team. When he’s at
home he loves to play the piano and the guitar, Karaoke is a guilty
pleasure and he loves to watch sports. Phil is also very active and
enjoys Judo and Thai Boxing as well as walking in the Peak District.
Jed - Public Relations
Jed is our resident Public Relations Officer. When he’s out of the office
you’ll find him at gig or out with friends. Jed enjoys reading, writing and
social networking a little too much! He also enjoys travelling, surfing in
Cornwall and playing football.
Carmen - Information Technology Team
 Carmen is a member of our web technical team. A busy mother of four,
she works from home in Cornwall developing our websites. When she is
not working or running after her children she enjoys surfing, going for
long walks on Bodmin Moor and off roading in her Land Rover Defender.
 Liam - Information Technology Team
Liam is one of our technicians, and has been with us for a few years
now. He enjoys playing American Football and playing his Sax in his
spare time. He also plays in a variety of Jazz bands around the country.
Daniel - Information Technology Team
 Daniel is an integral part of our web-technical team. After work he often
plays guitar in his 60’s band, he’s a massive Beatles fan too! Daniel also
loves to go Boxing and play Tennis.
 Mylo - Security
Mylo spends his time relaxing in our office. He loves going for walks, terrorising cats, being pampered and cuddled and freshly cooked roast
chicken.
